Tom Stevenson Murcia Villas Hacienda del Alamo 

Tom brings with him over 25 years experience in Financial Services, Estate Agency and Property Management within the UK.

Immediately prior to joining Murcia Villas, Tom had a successful career with the Halifax Bank as a Financial Adviser and Senior Financial Advisor.

Tom spent 4 years as a Director of an Insurance brokerage before becoming an Independent Financial advisor for a small independent Estate Agency chain in the Nottingham area, moving on to become a Mortgage Adviser and then Area Mortgage Manager within the Halifax Estate Agency group in 1992.

In 1996 Tom Joined the Halifax Building Society (as it was then known) as a Financial Adviser and later worked as a Senior Financial Advisor with responsibilities including helping to train and develop other  Financial Advisers, being recognised and rewarded during this period as being within the top 10% of Halifax Financial Advisers, and continuing to work there until late 2011.

During this period he has also acquired a portfolio of properties within the UK, the letting of which he has managed on a personal one to one basis, taking responsibility for all areas from , finding the right tenants and ensuring the optimum rentals are achieved for each property, to ensuring any remedial works needed are carried out by professional tradesmen at a competitive price.

Over the years he has built up an extensive network of contacts within both the “Tied” and “Independent” Financial Advice industry and also within the Estate Agency industry which he intends to put to good use in helping his customers to market their properties to the right kind of people in the right way.

Tom has 2 grown up daughters who both live and work in the UK, and he is hoping to make the most of  the outdoor lifestyle afforded by the hotter climate here in Murcia, looking forward to rekindling some of those long forgotten outdoor pursuits, such as cycling and hiking and a love of the countryside.
