Punta Prima has a Mediterranean climate with 320 days of sunshine a year. There are 2 beaches and a wonderful promenade (Paseo Maritimo) with shops and boutiques and bars and restaurants where you can enjoy your Menu del Dia.

The other beaches of Orihuela Costa such as La Zenia, Campoamor and Playa Flamenca are a few minutes away by car.

Nearby is the shopping and entertainment centre at La Zenia Boulevard. Alongside the many shops and supermarkets here, there is a large foodcourt serving an eclectic mix of cuisines, a children’s play area, ten pin bowling alley and a multi screen cinema complex.

Also nearby are the golf courses at Villamartin, Real Campoamor  and Las Ramblas.

A short drive north you will find Torrevieja and all of its amenities, including the shopping complex at Las Habaneras, two Waterparks, Pacha nightclub, a casino, a ten-pin bowling complex, and a marina offering  submarine and boat trips.

Punta Prima gives easy access to the N-332 national highway and the AP-7 Mediterranean motorway giving quick access up and down the coast from Alicante in the north to Cartagena in the south.
