Benijofar is a lovely small village built around a charming church and village square. There is the casa de cultura for concerts and shows, a marked walking trail which includes the Rio Segura and an outdoor swimming pool, as well as two parks and the three crosses viewpoint.

Benijofar has a good selection of tapas bars, cafes and restaurants as does the nearby urbanisation of Benimar.

The fantastic fine sandy beaches of Guardamar del Segura are just 8km from the village.

The nearby towns of Ciudad Quesada and Torrevieja offer a comprehensive variety of nightlife, with nightclubs, bars and restaurants all just a short taxi ride away. Both towns also offer access to waterparks for the kids.

For golfers of all abilities, there is access to a number of high quality golf courses within 20 min drive of Benijofar, with the closest being the Marquesa course at Ciudad Quesada.

Benijofar enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, like most of the Costa Blanca, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees.
